Heroes
Jonas: Jonas is an aspiring knight, and is preparing (as he has been for almost a year now) to compete in the annual Senerian Dueling Championship. He is the hero of the story, and has begun suffering nightmares and sever headaches. He is a skilled swordsman, and specialises in using his dual blades in quick strikes. He is extremely agile, and often gets the first hit in. His speed is offset however by his low stamina and inability to use any kind of magic.
Lynda: Lynda has been Jonas’ best friend for as long as he can remember. She, like Jonas has dreamed of winning the Dueling Championship. In fact, as she is a year older than he is, she has competed once and even made it to the semi-finals. She is a skilled warrior, but not as fast as Jonas, nor as strong as Kyran. However, she is an accomplished Light Elementalist, and can use numerous healing and protective spells in battle.
Kyran: Kyran is Lyndas twin brother. He is the one who has been training Jonas in swordsmanship, but as Jonas has advanced, their styles have begun to differ greatly as Kyran is more skilled at slow methodical moves. He often wins his fights by attrition. He is far tougher than either of his other two companions, and deals much stronger blows. He can wear the heaviest armour and wield the most deadly weapons. He is also a relatively skilled Magician, though not quite to the degree of his sister. He uses mainly offensive spells channeled through his sword.
Villains
Aastor: Aastor is the general of the Non-Army. He is suffering from similar symtoms to Jonas, though his have been much more severe. He hails from the neighbouring country of the Vanari Empire, but no longer serves it. He believes himself to be a God trapped in human form and is hunting through Seneria for Elder Tomb, where he believes he will find the secret to unlocking his past.
